Becoming a Metaphysician: How Thought, Energy & Awareness Shape Your Life
You are the thinker, the perceiver, and the field through which reality flows
In these transformational times, we’re beginning to see that the challenges in our lives don’t just ask for outer solutions—they call for deeper, metaphysical resolution.
Metaphysics, from the Greek meta (beyond) and physika (physical), points us toward the unseen forces shaping our world. It invites us to explore the why and how behind our experiences, and to recognize the powerful influence of our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs.
When we resolve an issue at the energetic level—by shifting perception, healing limiting beliefs, or connecting with higher consciousness—lasting change begins to take form in our physical reality.
Becoming a Metaphysician
To live with awareness is to become a metaphysician:
A student of the unseen, a practitioner of the subtle, a co-creator of a more conscious life.
As we learn to notice the energy behind our thoughts and words, we begin to “pass the test” of our life lessons. We evolve. We move forward.
As Lazaris beautifully said:
“Through the intellectual stuff of metaphysics… you gain power—the ability to act—and you gain empowerment—the authority and permission to act. And through power and empowerment comes dominion: the ability to consciously generate and create, as a co-creator of your future.”
Shifting Paradigms: From Mechanism to Meaning
A paradigm is a worldview—a set of assumptions about how life works. Most of us inherited our beliefs from generations past, rooted in 17th-century science and philosophy. But as we awaken, new truths are emerging.
Let’s compare these two worldviews:
Old Paradigm: Life as a Machine
Matter is all that’s real. Energy and emotion are “subjective.”
The body is a machine. Doctors are mechanics.
Knowledge enters from the outside; we’re born blank.
Reality is fixed. Observation has no effect.
New Paradigm: Life as Energy
All matter is made of energy, shaped by mind and emotion.
The body is intelligent energy, changing moment by moment.
We are born connected to Spirit, not blank slates.
Observation changes outcomes—our beliefs shape our world.
Voices of Transformation
Galileo & Descartes gave us mechanism.
Einstein, Chopra, and Kaku now reveal fields of energy and consciousness.
John Locke said we begin as blank slates.
Maslow reminded us of our inner drive to transcend, to become.
Which worldview do you hold?
Are you a passive receiver of life… or an empowered participant in your own evolution?
Healing from Within
In the old view, you are separate from Spirit and powerless in the face of illness or circumstance.
In the new view, you are a radiant being of energy, connected always to Source. Healing flows from within—through shifts in thought, belief, and emotional resonance.
You are not a victim. You are a learner. Every life experience—pleasant or painful—has something to teach you. And when you learn it, you transcend it.
A Simple Practice to Begin
This meditation is your entry point to subtle awareness. Practice it daily and let the energy do its work.
Sit comfortably – either on a cushion or chair. Keep your spine tall and relaxed.
Set a timer for 5 minutes.
Close your eyes and feel your breath at the tip of your nose.
Gently return to the breath each time your mind wanders. No judgment.
Let go of past and future. Enter the present moment fully.
Start with 5 minutes. Gradually expand to 10, 20, or even 40 minutes.
Even 5 minutes a day can change your life.
This simple breath is the gateway to your own power, presence, and peace.
You are more than you believe.
You are powerful beyond measure.
You are here to awaken—and to help the world awaken with you.
